Issue reported: RED & YELLOW LEDs remain active on the motherboard, and the PC fails to boot into BIOS.

Hardware changes made during testing:
Motherboard: MSI B650 Tomahawk WiFi
Processor: Ryzen 7800X3D
RAM: 4 x 16GB G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo DDR5 EXPO

Previous hardware used in testing:
Power Supply: Corsair RM 750X – functioning normally
Case: Fractal Meshify 2 – no problems detected

Actions attempted:
- All systems received 40 minutes of memory training
- Updated BIOS versions: 7D75v1J and 7D75v1I (dated 2024-08-09 to 2024-06-13)
- Reset CMOS using short JBAT1 for 10 seconds, removed CMOS battery for 10/20 minutes
- Tested all four RAM sticks in A2 configuration
- Switched CPU to two 7800X3D units

Additional notes:
- No success with flashing BIOS settings
- Service report from MSI B650 Tomahawk confirmed no faults, but no documentation provided

Hi, when I purchased a new computer with an MSI motherboard and DDR5 memory, I faced the same problem. The fix was to wait just a couple of minutes—usually around 120 seconds. After that, the computer would boot on its own. Initially, the red and yellow LEDs lit up, then they dimmed for a few minutes before turning off, and a green LED appeared, signaling the system was ready. Over time, it became faster until it almost booted instantly. Just be patient.

Red would indicate a cpu issue. Yellow a ram issue. On cpu, are you certain your 7800X3d is legit? There are fakes around: Is your cpu cooler fan working at 500 rpm or greater? A cpu will not start without a cooler, and a spinning fan(or pump) is how they test. On ram, are the 4 ram sticks from the same matched ram kit? If they are not, there may be issues. Do your testing with just one stick in the slot your motherboard manual specifies.

I'm sure the 7800x3d is genuine and I've tested two of them.
Watercooler fans are operating and RGP is active.
As noted in the previous post, I've checked every RAM stick separately in the A2 slot.

It's not the water cooler fans that are important; it's the pump turning. If the pump isn't connected or if the aio software doesn't activate it, the CPU won't start.
