It doesn't matter how I install Windows 11, my computer installs Norton 360 because it's an MSI, and whenever I uninstall it, I can't play any games from Steam—it literally can't. What's going wrong and how do I fix this? There are many things that won't run at all without errors.

at first it came with the computer .. after that i reset my computer fully with the reset function in windows and it seems there is something with the bios or hardware that detects the settings it wants.

if you need it removed, use the Windows 11 installation media from the Microsoft site.
restore the system to the original state, which was included with the PC.
identify the precise error during the uninstallation of Norton 360 and attempt to launch Steam again.
review the event log for details.

the games and apps don't display any errors, just won't function properly. if installed using the ms tool, will activation remain valid? or would rebuying windows be necessary?

Did you set up Steam following the removal of Norton?

No, it's not only steam apps that aren't working. I believe the Windows antivirus is causing the issue by interfering with the app execution.

review the event log, examine the Windows Defender logs. Or as you suggested, proceed with a fresh Windows 11 installation.
