Hello, I've seen some games where my computer is really slow and stuttery. That's funny because a lot of these games are old and don't need a fancy PC at all. For example, Dead by Daylight and CS:GO have this bad lag (sometimes the frames go from 100 down to 40 in one second). But Forza Horizon 5, RDR2, Metro Exodus do not stutter; they just drop the frame rate normally without breaking. Here is a YouTube clip showing what the lag looks like, with data from an MSI card: View: https://youtu.be/rzN28_pB3Co Anyway, I plan on buying a new GPU soon, but what if my CPU is broken? I'm worried about that too. For checking things out, I tried many basic fixes to fix the lag- power settings, screen and graphics settings, full-screen mode options, etc. No overheating on any part of the computer either. I also recently cleaned up Windows completely with no luck here. Here is a link to my CPU-Z test which shows all my system specs and more, but I will write down the list below if you want to click that link: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 running at 4024.06 MHz - CPU-Z VALIDATOR (x86.fr) Also by the way, you can see XMP is not turned on- I reset my BIOS recently, but it still stuttered with XMP even after that. CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 GPU: RX 580 8GB RAM: 16GB DDR4 PSU: EVGA 600W 80 Gold Plus MOBO: ASRock B450M/ac Display: BenQ Zowie RL2455 LCD @ 60Hz Windows 10 Home Edition
