When the afterburner initializes the mt custom setup, the monitor should switch off and then back on. Verified all cables, but the new display port cable didn't help.

Update your post with detailed hardware specifications and operating system details.
Is this a genuine make and model of the monitor? Check if the DP connectivity is accurate.
Pause all power-saving features and screensavers to see if the issue persists.
Attempt a fresh installation of Afterburner; the existing setup might be faulty.
Reinstall GPU drivers by downloading them directly from the manufacturer's site, then reinstall and adjust settings.
Review Reliability History and Event Viewer for any error messages or warnings around the time the monitor powers on and off.

Fixed, completed the Windows setup. The night before it began, I re-uploaded my GPU, wondering if that might have caused the issue.
