Question about Warzone FPS - "Good PC?" I believe
Hello, I understand there are many discussions around this subject and I apologize, but I invested a lot in my PC in June, just to see the FPS drop with each update and it makes me feel a bit disappointed.
My specifications are:
Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix B450-F GAMING, Socket-AM4
RAM: HyperX Predator DDR4 3200MHz 16GB
CPU: Ryzen 5 3600X stock cooler
GPU: 2080 Ti
PSU: 650W (I originally bought a 750, but it was defective, so I’m using the old one)
So, from what I remember, when I entered the game in June, I had between 190 and 210 FPS. I had around 135 to 200 when I was active, and 135 is from Superstore and nearby stores. That was the lowest.
Now, during the current session, I’ve seen 135 to 165 FPS while playing. Since I’m a competitive player, even a 40 FPS drop is noticeable if you’re used to high performance.
I recently bought a house and other things, so I’m not sure if I should upgrade my PC completely for better performance. Are there any small components I should consider buying or getting when they become available?
I play at low settings on 1080P. My monitor is a Benq model with 2546 240Hz.
AMD ryzen 5 3600X with temperatures between 71-80°C – does it impact my FPS? Hey! I own a 2-month-old AMD ryzen 5 3600X. There are many discussions about it, but none really explain clearly what’s going on. Sorry! I use a CPU temp tracker while gaming, and in CALL OF DUTY:WARZONE I see my CPU running around 71°C and peaking at 82°C. I’ve read that these can run quite hot... forums. Have you resolved the temperature problem?
