Recently, I observed unusual sounds from my PSU under load. They differ from typical coil whine—they sometimes sound like ticking or grinding, even without the fan running. It seems the power supply might be deteriorating. Could you verify this? I’ve included a video of the issue. The unit is only two months old.

You could try using an A4 sheet, rolling it into a cylinder, and listening to the noise through one end while holding the other. PSU: Montech Century II

Wattage?
GPU: power color red devil 6700xt
Are you certain the noise isn't coming from the back of the GPU?
I believe the device might be malfunctioning. Could someone verify this?
If possible, borrow another unit with similar wattage and check if you're also hearing the same sound.
I rolled an A4 sheet of paper, and it seems to be coming from the GPU. The power rating is 850w, but my MSI A550bn should work for short testing since my system only uses about 400w under load.
Edit: I noticed a problem with the PSU when it made that particular noise last night; the fans would keep turning on and off repeatedly during a GPU restart, which resolved the issue.
