Does the unit work with a repeater configuration? For example, one is connected to the router, while another is placed in a barn to extend the Wi-Fi signal? No Ethernet connection available.

Currently available Unifi models all include “Wireless Uplink” functionality. This feature is only compatible with additional Unifi APs and won’t work with devices from other manufacturers. Performance varies based on the distance between APs and any physical barriers present.

It can handle it, but the quality depends on their distance from each other. To maintain a strong wifi signal during repetition, they should be fairly close together. If placed in a barn, the distance is likely too great for good coverage, so consider a point-to-point setup instead. These systems are designed specifically for this situation and offer minimal signal loss.

It's around 250 feet. I've already checked one, and it works beyond that. I'm considering getting another one and placing it in the barn window to act as a repeater. I'm after something called "Wireless Uplink."

When I receive the second item. Thanks! Also, do you happen to know if this mount is compatible with the Wi-Fi 6 LR AP?

The U6-PRO and UAP-AC-PRO are listed as compatible. The U6-LR being bigger suggests it won’t match. Feel free to reach out to the Ubiquiti Forum for more details.
