Checked various links on Google and noticed the task bar appears as a single unit. The best alternative seems to be installing Rainmeter or similar desktop customization tools, applying a skin that resembles the task bar (or creating your own) and placing it at the bottom and left sides.

Place a dock at the base and position the taskbar windows along the side

I haven't tried creating my own rainmeter skin yet. Maybe I'll check it out later.
