Question about the recent decrease in FPS in League of Legends?
Hello, anyone have suggestions about sudden FPS drops in League? I’ve been experiencing this a few months ago. FPS drops randomly to zero for a moment and then returns. It happens sometimes at the start of the game, occasionally at the end, and other times every few matches like 5 or 10 times. It’s really unpredictable and bothersome. I’m playing on low settings with a 144fps cap. I’ve checked all possible combinations in the Radeon software settings and looked up everything online about FPS drops in games. The last thing I did was reinstall Windows, but that didn’t help.
I’m really looking for assistance.
Hi there, thank you for your message. I have roughly 120gb free on the SSD. The game is installed there. Recently I reinstalled Windows and found that mostly only drivers, the OS, and one game remain. I checked temperatures when issues began a few months ago and they were normal. The GPU was about 55°C after a short while of playing. I don’t recall much about the CPU, but it seemed fine. I don’t think overheating is the cause because sometimes the problem appears within the first 10 minutes of play (though not always).
I just noticed your question about usage. The CPU usage is low, around 15%, and I’m not sure about the GPU. Where should I look for that information? Your PC knowledge is a bit limited.
I guess i didnt provide enough infromation for you to help me. I hope this 2 vids can show you better what kind of problem i have. Still desperate for help.

I'm experiencing quite similar problems too, such as purchasing my PC and facing identical lag issues.
Hi there, do you experience the same issue? The game isn't lagging, which would happen if it were too demanding for your PC. It's just random fluctuations in FPS. Otherwise, it runs smoothly even at high settings. I tried a few things, like changing dp to hdmi, but that didn't help. I saw someone on the forum discussing a similar problem and they fixed it by adjusting the VSync settings between full screen and windowed mode (you might want to try that if you're using NVIDIA). However, I'm not sure how this would work with your Radeon.
Test using an unplugged HDD? What is the brand and model of the PSU?
