Question about the Ram debug light on Gigabyte X870 Eagle WiFi 7
The system has begun booting, likely requiring a short idle period of 20 to 30 minutes. Regarding the PSU, it only came with a daisy-chained 8-pin connector, not another type. Should I link the 2x8 daisy chain to the 16-pin adapter for the 4080 Super, or should I consider purchasing a new PSU?
I believe I misidentified the device. It appears to be a single cord with two 8-pin connectors connected to the 3-headed female adapter for the NVIDIA game. That should function even with just one cord. Regarding the third female head, it's acceptable if it's empty.
I believe it's correct. I only have one cord that connects in a daisy chain of 2 eight pins from the psu, plus the pcie slot naturally. I've already tried connecting the gpu this way, but it doesn't power on at all. The fans aren't working and no monitors appear when displayport cords are connected.
Avoid risking potential harm to your GPU. Rely on the built-in video until you can swap out the PSU. Do not employ any additional adapters to establish another PCIe power link from the PSU.
If a different PCIe cable tailored for the PSU exists, it would be acceptable.
