Are you referring to M.2 storage? It doesn’t fit with a DDR2 motherboard. However, you can install a 2.5" SATA SSD, though its speed might be limited by the 3Gb/s SATA ports on the board.

It's a DDR2 motherboard, not M.2 storage.

On newer boards the interface supports 6Gb/s, which likely won’t drastically affect everyday tasks like opening Windows or playing games. You should still get faster results than a traditional spinning drive, though speeds won’t match the best options.
