Looking for emulators with reduced lag or smooth performance on older systems like SNES, Genesis, or NES. Seeking options that maintain consistent 60fps without the typical flicker you experience with native hardware. Previously used SNES9x and similar tools but haven’t found a solution offering this level of stability.

Is this a general rule for all consoles? Current game timing relies not only on the hardware's core clock but also on how that clock is managed through delays and similar techniques.

Sorry, this setup isn’t feasible. The system is designed to function together, and introducing software emulation complicates things further. Could you clarify your hardware and game preferences?
