Installing drivers sequentially versus doing a clean install affects how your system updates and stability. Using DDU to clear drivers may cause issues without being in safe mode, especially with AMD’s driver versions.

Do you need to upgrade your drivers or add drivers for another card? If you only want a newer version, you can install it without removing the current one. When using a different card, it's best to remove the old driver and run DDU.

It was just a thought because I didn’t remove the previous driver during the update. Appreciate you explaining it clearly.

This definitely resolves the issue for me as well. I was thinking of applying the newest Beta driver to my existing Omega driver version. At least I’m sure it’s safe since it applies to the same card.
