Question about the differences between the LG Gram 17 models from 2022 and 2021.
Would like details comparing the LG Gram 17 from 2022 and 2021. On Amazon are only the 2022 versions marked as '2022' or are there other models this year as well, and how can I tell? Are there significant differences between the two years besides the CPU, and is that enough to make this purchase this year? Also, does the WQXGA display warrant a higher price compared to previous models?
Screen resolution and CPU speed are largely up to personal preference when determining if the investment is worthwhile. You'll be utilizing it, so you'll understand its intended use and whether the added features justify the additional expense. I generally prefer systems that are a couple of generations older than the newest models, but I don't obsess over the fastest performance; a satisfactory balance between cost and performance is what matters most.
Yeah... I don't mind being slow, just wanted to check if the upgrades are worth the higher price according to what most people here think. If it's only a small improvement, I might wait for the last few models, but if it's noticeable... I could go for the newer one. It mentions that the updated LG models with the upgraded video card will be released in Q2, though I don't see them yet. The '2022' versions on Amazon don't include the upgraded card either.
