Hey everyone! I've noticed how Steam offers a special setup for playing x86 games on Linux. How effective is it really? I'm considering switching to Linux but need to be able to play Steam games so I can keep streaming.

Looking for the games you wish to play will indicate whether they function properly. Nearly all online games with cheat prevention features are broken.

There are a good selection of games that run directly on Linux. WINE can handle the rest. I'm not sure why you bring up x86. Just like Windows, Linux works backward compatibility, especially with common distributions.
