I own a Dell PowerEdge 2950 with a stable connection at 100 MB/s. My PC boasts 16 GB of RAM, which should handle the workload efficiently. The game seems designed to load only essential data, optimizing performance.

I reviewed it because it looks like he managed to get it running. I attempted before, but there were too many problems to fix.

100mbps is rare; most switches support gigabit speeds. If you needed that speed for a file transfer, the value would typically be shown in bytes, which aligns more closely with what you'd expect.

some titles worked fine, especially smaller ones where I can’t describe them clearly in words. technically, each load required steady communication between inside and outside, which is also a challenge. keep in mind even with a NAS drive, the game might only be available to one person—like playing CSGO on one PC instead of multiple users. this alone undermines the goal of shared storage for all users (assuming that’s your intention).

Thanks, it looks like he suggests avoiding running several machines on the same library. This approach is ideal for storing games on a NAS, so if your PC fails you won’t need to re-download everything, and it also ensures your setup stays current.
