Question About Stain on Aorus RTX 5080's LCD Screen
Hi everyone!
A few days back I got my new Aorus RTX 5080 with an LCD screen. When I tried to install it, I saw a stain inside the LCD panel. It looks like the adhesive used to attach the panel to the chassis. Should I request a return or replacement? I'm not sure if this is typical.

Have a great day!
I wouldn't RMA the card, at this point...not with limited stock going around. Does the LCD show any other visible discrepancies when powered up...?
Currently, I'm unsure how to proceed. The card is too large to fit the screws properly. XD
did you take off the foil from the led panel? if yes, apply tape to collect any remaining material
Yes, it is.
I tried to clean it with isopropyl alcohol and lcd cleaner and nothing, it seems to be inside the panel, here's a

Because you have the warranty, you might want to wait a month or two for it to be available again. If you buy it now, you're unsure how long you'll be without a card.
Sure, I'll attempt to reach out to the store and request a refund. It's a bit uncomfortable. I'm planning to skip this brand for the time being.
Gigabyte is a well-known brand. Defects in electronics can occur with any manufacturer, regardless of size. EVGA was once considered a strong choice for NVIDIA cards until they exited the market several years ago, and I recall encountering faulty cards from them as well.
