Question about spacing between rails

Hi, I'm setting up my MSI MEG Z490 ACE with a 64GB G.Skill Trident Z RGB RAM. I'm planning to use four 16GB modules and a Corsair H150I PRO RGB water cooler. I'm curious if the cooler's pipes will interfere with the DIMM slots near the CPU socket. Have anyone similar done this? Also, I was considering the NZXT Kraken X73 for its sleek design, but I'm leaning toward Corsair because of its better RGB integration and accessories. Let me know your thoughts on these options!

It should work just fine. The majority of this content uses normalization, and Corsair likely reviewed the ATX standard to improve compatibility. If it doesn’t fit, you can rotate the waterblock.

On corsair tubes, connectors exit on the side near the DIMM slots.

I recall some folks facing issues where NZXT coolers were obstructing the first DIMM slot, forcing rotations that made the logo face sideways. I understand you could try rotating it to fix the problem, but then the logo would be in an awkward position and your OCD might get really intense.

Logo orientation would be flipped, as you mentioned. The Z390 motherboards from Corsair work well with RAM on MSI boards without obstructing slots, though the Z490 CPU socket is larger, so compatibility might change slightly.

The Corsair H150i Pro didn't block any slots on older Z390 boards, but I'm uncertain if newer Z490 boards are identical because the sockets there seem larger than those in previous models like Z270 and Z390.
