Hello and welcome:
OS:
Windows 11 64-bit 24H2 b:26100.3037 Enterprise LTSC-IoT (registered to the company I work for).
Microsoft Office:
MSOffice Pro+ 16.0.17932.20130 LTSC 2024 + VisioPro/ProjectPro/Skype for Business AiO (registered to the company I work for).
The installation of MSOffice Pro+ 16.0.17932.20130 LTSC 2024 + VisioPro/ProjectPro/Skype for Business AiO proceeded smoothly:
Insert the stick my System Admin gave me, and it worked perfectly without any problems.
Until ... the following day, I tried to launch Skype for Business for a business meeting with the company, but it failed to start:
"The program this shortcut is linked to, does not exist"?
Checking the location of Skype for Business confirmed that the entire Skype directory was missing.
I attempted to reinstall Business for Skype after Windows removed it. The reinstallation process ended with:
"We're sorry, Microsoft Office installer encountered a problem because you have these Click-to-Run installer based Office programs installed on your computer."
Important note:
I never used any "Click to Run" installers; it was a registered ISO from my company with a preinstalled Command Line Executor.
Therefore, it seems Windows chose to remove the Skype entirely.
Trying to reinstall via CMD or PowerShell didn't help. A possible solution could be a registry key adjustment.
Reason:
The installer came from my company, and I have no idea why Windows decided to delete Skype completely.
Reaching out to Microsoft provided no clear answer:
"Uninstall MSOffice."
What?!
I needed the program urgently; it wasn't a viable option.
Contacting Microsoft confirmed this.
How should I proceed? Please advise.
Thank you in advance,
Xog.

Helping to exceed installation limits would break Forum rules.
It’s difficult to fully understand the context of the issues shared.
If Skype or similar services are registered to your company and supplied by your System Admin, then that individual should handle the concerns.
