You're considering whether to install 32GB RAM at 3000MHz or stick with your current 16GB at 3600MHz for streaming purposes. Both options are supported by Corsair Vengeance LX, but the performance difference may matter depending on your needs. Running more RAM can improve multitasking and reduce lag during streaming, though it won't drastically change the overall experience if you're not doing heavy gaming or rendering.

When approaching 16GB RAM consumption, you should consider adding more memory. If it stays within limits, proceed without extra RAM. Insufficient memory forces reliance on the pagefile, which significantly slows performance compared to faster RAM.

What I do depends on your needs. For gaming, hitting 3600mt/s in a 1:1 match is impressive; you might want 16GB with that speed. If your current setup works, you could easily reach at least 3200mt 32GB.

I have an avatar during streams and mainly play FPS games. I understand using both works at 3000MHz, but the R7 5700X performs better at 3600MHz. I’ve been told this, but I’m still unsure.

The advantages of high RAM speeds are often overstated. Just run the 32 gigabytes at the speed you're comfortable with and ignore minor issues like 100MHz variations.
