It shouldn’t cause any issues, and you won’t experience significant performance loss—unless there’s a minor timing difference. Your quicker RAM will simply connect to the slower RAM speeds and timing requirements.

If I purchased another stick with the same 3600 MHz and CL18, it's fine as long as it's from a different brand. You'd experience only a minor drop in performance.
