Hello, I recently purchased the Corsair 750 RM750x Shift. It lacks a RPM fan mode, meaning the fan doesn’t spin when the load is low. However, the PSU makes a constant noise, possibly due to coil whine. I’ve uploaded a video here for reference. The sound isn’t loud, but it bothers me a lot while browsing the web. Using Task Manager, I noticed the noise stops once CPU usage goes above 10% and resumes when it drops below that threshold. This happens with games that have high GPU demand even when CPU usage stays under 10%. My system runs a Ryzen 5 5600G (65W) CPU and an RX 7800 XT GPU (263W). I use a power strip with an EMI filter. I’m still open to asking for a refund, but I really like this model—should I consider replacing it?

P.S.
Are there any software tools that can adjust CPU/GPU usage to specific levels for more testing?

You'll often hear the same chirp from the PSU, also called coil whine, when power is being delivered or regulated. This noise can be felt in the VRM sections of the motherboard and the GPU.
I still have time to ask for a refund, but I really like this model—should I consider replacing it?
I would reach out to Corsair to check if they can send another unit as an RMA.

It seems unusual that the coil whine ceases once the GPU or CPU hits a certain power threshold. Could this indicate an issue with my specific power supply unit?
