The motherboard features a USB with PD, and the PD_PWR1 Connector uses a 6-pin power connector. It seems the PSU didn't include a dedicated cable for this setup. The power supply's PCIe cables can rearrange its 8 pins into a 6-pin and a 2-pin configuration. Should I use that method?

Ensure you utilize the PCIe 6+2 connector cables for supplying power to internal type C connectors.

It supports a 6-pin PCIe connection, which matches the standard used for linking to your graphics card. This feature adds value, making the Ace an excellent choice for the X670 board.

Thanks for your messages. After posting, my laptop died because it ran out of battery. I then connected it to a PCIe port myself and everything is working fine now.
