Hello,
I recently received a 5070 GPU from PNY that uses the new NVIDIA power connector. My PSU is this one:
https://www.microcenter.com/product...-f...compatible
The PSU came with a "300w" cable designed for NVIDIA cards. However, I noticed the GPU also includes an adapter for a 2 8pin GPU to the new connector. I’m unsure whether to use the adapter from my PSU or the one that came with the GPU. I’m aware there have been problems with this connector, so I just wanted to get advice on which is safer.
Thanks!

I would utilize the 16 pin included with your PSU. It's designed for the card.

Thank you for the update on setting up the card. I mainly observed that the pins looked slightly different on the adapter compared to the PSU cable. The adapter has four pins in the smaller connector area, while the PSU cable only has two. It appears to be functioning properly.
