This is my first time building a PC and joining this forum for the first time. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hardware specs: Motherboard Gigabyte Aorus Z790 Elite AX, CPU Intel I9-13900KS, GPU PNY GTX 1070 placeholder, RAM 32GB Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR5 6000mhz, PSU Corsair AX1600i, Storage 4TB WD Black SN850X, CPU cooler Corsair H170i Elite Capellix, case Corsair 7000X.

The system boots into BIOS and I've begun installing Windows. After a few minutes it starts to stutter heavily, then stops completely after a couple more minutes, even when kept in BIOS mode. I've attempted several troubleshooting steps so far—clearing CMOS, resetting defaults, flashing the BIOS, checking for CPU damage or bent pins, swapping RAM cards, verifying CPU orientation.

I'm uncertain about the next steps. Should I replace certain components while I have time, or are there additional checks I should perform? I'll share a couple of photos to assist, but I'm still unsure how to proceed. I've noticed the CPU voltage seems extremely low, though I'm not entirely sure.

Hey everyone, I didn't update the forum after fixing it, but the real issue turned out to be with Corsair's connector for their commander core. It fit in, but it wasn't establishing a proper connection. I just had to reattach that cable for it to work. Thanks for your assistance.

Have you verified the CPU temperatures and confirmed the AI pump functions correctly?

The CPU is overheating, as shown in the images. I've looked into the AIO, but the main concern now is whether the pump is functioning properly, which is unclear in its present condition. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

How intense is extreme heat? What indicators appear on the performance monitor during an issue?

It steadily approaches the maximum temperature defined in the BIOS, before voltage and speed decrease (likely because of throttling), then it crashes afterward. At this stage, I’m thinking it’s probably due to the CPU, motherboard, or cooler. I didn’t initially think about AIO since it seemed to run smoothly, with vibrations and coolant lines warming up slightly. But after a more thorough check, those vibrations are probably just ambient noise from other fans in the system.

I didn't notice the pictures until now. It seems the AiO connections might be incorrect. Check your motherboard's manual for guidance on connecting the AiO pump cables.

The AIO pump connection is located on the CPU_FAN header, according to the manual. I’ll need to check the header with another fan to determine if the issue lies with the header or the cooler.

The SYS_FAN4_PUMP header appears at the bottom, as shown in the image. Radiator fans can be connected to the CPU_FAN and CPU_OPT headers.

I'll attempt it tonight after work, but now my issue is that the standard wire on the cooler isn't sufficient to reach down there. I might need to purchase an extension. Also, the fan header plugged in isn't picking up anything at all—should I be concerned about this during my shift?
