I’m facing problems where my PC frequently freezes with a black screen while gaming. No sound is produced, and the main monitor turns completely black while the secondary display freezes with whatever was displayed at that time. I’ve taken it to a repair shop, but they reported normal hardware and drivers, temperatures are fine, and frame rates are okay except for some games that stutter and crash until then. The only solution so far is forcing the system off by holding the power button on the case. Have anyone experienced this before or know a fix?

If you're sure about the shop's diagnosis, it might help to focus on the game's title. Check the relevant forum group for that title to find similar problems reported there. You can also look through Reliability History and Event Viewer for details.

Personal experience:
I enjoy The Division 2 a lot. It has had a long-standing problem where, aside from temperature issues, memory leaks, bad drivers, and so on, the game would freeze or crash without any clear cause. I haven't faced this issue in other titles (at least not in the same way), and patches have generally fixed it over time.

I believe you're onto something with these certain games. When I installed my old rx5700 GPU into my PC, it's been able to run Last Epoch for more time than with the newer one. The game hasn't crashed in about an hour, but that doesn't guarantee it won't happen later. What's odd is that it only seems to affect specific games. I've been playing a lot of Warframe without issues, but 20 minutes of Last Epoch causes it to crash.

It looks like the GPU or PSU might be the problem, since my older GPU hasn't had any crashes yet.
