This could be a simple question, but I'm attempting to upgrade the power supply in my Dell Optiplex 3020 MT (I7) with at least three spare PCIe ports for my GPU. All the online discussions seem to ignore the 4-pin port on the motherboard for CPU power. People keep mentioning a 24pin to 8pin adapter, but I notice nothing about the 4-pin port for the CPU. Should this be something I should be concerned about? And where can I find an adapter for it?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
All the posts I've seen online don't mention the 4pin port on the motherboard for CPU power.
The 4pin EPS is the standard. What's unique to the motherboard or platform is the 8pin main power input, which is 24 on most of the boards available today.
