Hello everyone, welcome! I'm just starting out with CPU overclocking and currently running at 4.6 as indicated in the title.
My setup looks like this:
i5-8600k
Gigabyte z390 Gaming X
Scythe Mugen rev 5
16GB DDR4 Corsair Vengeance (Dual Channel)
PSU EVGA 650 BQ
No GPU installed yet (a Vega 56 is planned)

So far, I've read some guides and adjusted the settings on my motherboard:
I enabled XMP Profile.
LLC: Some recommendations suggest setting it to Turbo, but I chose Normal.
I turned off Enhanced Multicore Performance.
I also disabled Intel Speed Shift, CPU Enhanced Halt C1E, C3, C6/C7, C8, C10 states.
AVX Offset: I haven't changed this setting and wasn't sure if it needed adjustment...

CPU Clock Core is set to 46.
My CPU vcore started at 1.2v, but during testing on CINEBENCH it spiked up to 68º. That made me doubt everything—Prime95 (version 26.6) even got hotter (around 72º). I lowered the vcore to 1.140, which worked, but the temperature stayed a bit high (63º on CINEBENCH and 70º after 15 minutes of Prime95). Eventually, I set it back to "normal," which seems like a default offset for some boards. The temps stabilized afterward: 55º on CINEBENCH and 65º after 15 minutes of Prime95.

After setting the vcore to normal, the Dynamic Vcore (DVID) option appeared, but since I wasn't sure what value to use, it stayed auto.

What do you think? Is this a good setup? Are there other settings I should tweak?
Also, a quick question: after 15 minutes of Prime95, the VRM temperature rose to 61º... is that normal?

So I've checked the documentation and the typical vcore for 4.6 is 1.2/1.25, but with normal (non-auto) settings the PC hasn't experienced a BSOD yet... what setting should I use for dynamic vcore? And is the VRM temperature on this board acceptable? I've found no information about that.

Hi, here are the clear pictures you uploaded. (the red circle on vcore shows the "normal" setting, which seems similar to offset.) I also shared the temperature and max temp readings from Prime95 with HWMonitor. I'm not sure about the voltage but hope it's okay.
