My computer came with a standard Toshiba M.2 NVMe SSD rated B+M. I also purchased another M.2 SSD, but it seems to be an M type only. I'm wondering if this could be the reason my PC won't boot with that one. I've been searching online for a non-SATA M.2 B+M option and haven't found anything suitable.

Are you using a PCIe x2 or SATA connection? Which laptop are you with?

I checked the M.2 slot and saw it’s an NVMe with two drives instead of one. I’m really puzzled about what that means.
