Hello community
I'm trying to upgrade the RAM on my HP Pavilion Sw0509NA laptop, but I see that the speed I installed is only 2133 GHz (Corsair SODIM DDR4 2133 C15 8GB), while the laptop supports up to 2400 GHz. Can I overclock my new RAM to match the old one's speed? And if so, what steps should I follow? Or should I consider getting a new RAM with the correct 2400 GHz? The BIOS doesn't have any overclocking options, which is confusing. Thanks!

Laptop bios won't support those features. If you need 2400 speed, get 2400 speed RAM. It's not worth the effort; you wouldn't see any difference.

When BIOS doesn't offer a way to adjust RAM speed, you can't overclock it. The model number doesn't match what I expected, and I couldn't find any results for your laptop online.
