I installed Windows 11 Home on my new gaming PC last night. While I was away doing other tasks waiting for the OS to complete its installation, I saw displayed on the screen the following error message: "Something went wrong OOBEDEVICENAMECOMMIT." During the initial install, I had to load drivers for my internal wifi expansion card from a USB since I do not have an ethernet cable long enough to reach my router. Since I could not do anything on the error message display and after looking for steps online, I removed the USB that had my wifi drivers and pressed the power button to power down and restart my gaming PC. After switching the PC back on, Windows 11 continued with the last steps of installation like Office 365, One Drive, privacy options, and account creation. After completing those steps, the OS seemed to start properly. Now, I am transitioning from Windows 10 to 11 and a lot of this is new to me. Did my OS install properly with the information I provided, or is there a problem with the OS that needs to be fixed? Should I leave the OS alone, run a Windows Repair from either the Windows 11 disc or updates, or completely reinstall the OS?
Thanks.

It's likely okay unless you've had problems before.
Proceed with updating Windows.
Install all drivers from the motherboard support website. Begin with chipset drivers.

You can always transport a desktop to the router for a wired link. "Bring the mountain to Mohammed"

I performed a reset of Windows 11. Following driver problems and seeking help from tech support regarding my motherboard (Gigabyte X870 Eagle WiFi 7), I opted for a factory reset to start over. After the reset, I observed that the power button, Windows icon, and file explorer navigation buttons either lagged or reacted too fast, requiring repeated presses to function properly. Could this be a bug in Windows 11, or should I adjust settings to improve their responsiveness? If yes, what steps would you recommend?
