Question about high tier PSUs and Overclocking.
So I'm planning to switch to Coffee Lake in the future (likely an i5 8600k). I need a solid PSU because I plan to overclock both my CPU and GPU, plus upgrade my RAM (MSI Armor GTX1060 6GB OCV1). My budget is around 150 EUR. I'm aiming for a tier 1 PSU and at least 750W just in case (instead of 650W). I want to stay ahead, so I'm going for a 750W model and prefer something with extra capacity.
My options are:
(1) CoolerMaster V-Series V750 Gold. (140 EUROS)
(2) Corsair RMi Series 750W. (150 EUROS)
(3) EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G2. (137 EUROS)
All the PSU models you're looking at are of good quality. The personal choice is the RM750i, followed by the G2 750, then the V750. You really don't need a 750W setup (it's an overkill). In fact, even a 550W will suffice. A 650W unit guarantees you have enough power to upgrade your GPU to a GTX 1080 Ti in the future, whether or not you apply overclocking. I would definitely think about the RM650x or G2 650 to cut costs (even the RM550x or G2 550 if you plan to keep the GTX 1060 for a long time).

650w is suggested, but 750w seems excessive; all three options are great for quality. The RMI is the quietest and includes a Corsair link to monitor your power draw from the PSU. At 150 euros, I’d choose a Seasonic Prime Titanium 650w if possible. A 750w setup is even better with a 1080 Ti, but 650w works well.

The PSU models you're looking at are all of good quality (personal preference is the RM750i, then the G2 750, and finally the V750). In reality, you probably don't need a 750W (it's an overkill). Actually, even a 550W will suffice. A 650W will give you enough power to upgrade your GPU to a GTX 1080 Ti in the future, whether or not you do an overclock. I would really think about the RM650x or G2 650 to save money (even the RM550x or G2 550 if you plan to keep using the GTX 1060 for a long time). I wasn't aware that 550W was sufficient; I thought it wouldn't be enough for overclocking. Now I understand that 750 is excessive. I'll definitely get a Corsair RM650X or RM650i. Thanks!

At 150 euros, I’d choose a seasonic prime titanium 650w if you have that budget xD. A 750w with a 1080 ti is overkill even then, 650w works fine. Seasonic titanium 650 W costs 175 euros. Haha
