Question About Gradient Images for YouTube Videos
I don't understand where to share these or if I'm in the correct location, but I’d really appreciate some assistance.
I made several thumbnail images for YouTube that include gradients in parts of the pictures. Most of them look okay inside the image, but after uploading they become distorted and full of artifacts. Inside the image they appear fine.
I save them as 1280x720 PNGs. Can anyone advise on how to make these files much clearer?
Is there another format I should use instead? I’m currently working with an old version of Photoshop CS2, so it might matter.
Thanks.
Visit YouTube, search for similar gradient images, review their format and resolution.
Edit a few of your own images to match, save the edited versions, then upload them as usual.
Compare the new gradients—do they improve or deteriorate?
