Hi all,
I'm using the Acer Nitro 5 AN515-53 and playing Binding Of Isaac Repentance. I check the wiki for information, often switching between the game and Microsoft Edge to search. Sometimes the game freezes unexpectedly, leading to a MEMORY MANAGEMENT BSOD. So far, I've tried making the game windowed to test, but it hasn't caused a lockup yet. I think my HDD might be faulty, though I haven't experienced this issue with other games since I don't use alt + tab often. Anyone know if frequent alt tabbing in fullscreen can trigger a BSOD?

Start by checking the detailed output from the event viewer for your BSOD.
Make sure your hard drive is fixed before anything else, just in case it’s failing.

The problem is that the BSOD appears at 0% during restart, showing "no boot" and not producing a report because the system failed. Despite thorough checks, my HDD shows no bad sectors, but I still suspect a faulty drive.
I experienced these BSODs after running chkdsk c:/r and performing a clean Windows install, though it only occurred during a specific game when I pressed alt-tab.

I experienced the same problem as you, my laptop would frequently crash with a "whea uncorrectable error" during gaming. The crash screen would disappear briefly but not fully, followed by no boot drive detected for several minutes. There was also no report of BSOD. My SSD was at 90% health, suggesting it might be failing and causing the issue. Installing Windows on my hard drive resolved the problem.
