Estimated FPS with different settings vary. Origins and GTA V run smoothly on your setup, but performance drops noticeably at higher settings. Assassin's Creed Syndicate and GTA V offer solid frame rates depending on your configuration.

Wow... it's hard to believe... I'm a bit doubtful but if you're correct, I'll be very happy. Thank you.

You're on the right track. A 1050Ti offers great performance, around 40-60 FPS at mid settings on 1080p, and works well in most games.

No, not yet. I only have the motherboard and RAM, but I will upgrade after Christmas, before New Years. I just wanted to know what can I expect.

I know a friend who owns a 1050ti. It runs around 60-70fps on medium settings in GTA V (overclocked, of course) at 1080p. My 970 is about 110 at medium. If you're looking for a used 970 at the same price, it might be worth considering.

Can you manage a 1060 with 3GB RAM or an RX 570 with 4GB?

Sure, I understand. You're looking for options that fit a budget and confirm compatibility with AMD GPUs.
