Question about dual channels

I've set up my new machine with a Ryzen 7 3880X, G.Skill Trident Z Neo, 32GB RAM, and an ASUS Rog Strix B550. It's been a while since I assembled a computer, so I decided to build another one. When it was built, everything worked properly. However, the RAM was installed in single-channel slots B1 and B2. Recently, I found out they need to be in dual-channel mode. I switched them to A2 and B2, but only saw 16GB in A2. After enabling DOCP in BIOS and rebooting, it launched the desktop and restarted itself automatically. Any advice or help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Did you reposition the stick? I'll verify its functionality on a1 and b1.

Check the stick from channel A2 in slot B2 with the old B2 memory stick removed from the system (see if the slot is faulty). If successful, reinstall the previously uninstalled stick to A2. If the problem persists, try using slots A1 and B1.

Thank you! I fixed the dimming switch I relocated, and it’s now displaying 32GB again.
