My Gigabyte B850 AORUS Elite WiFi7 mobo supports both 2x4 and 2x2 CPU power connectors, while my Gigabyte GP-AE850PM PG5 PSU lacks a 2x2 header. If the setup fails to start, it suggests an issue with the power configuration. Should I adjust the power setup or look for another solution?

No 8 pin and 4 pin connectors are available. The 4+4 connector for the PSU will separate when installing the 4 pin. Typically, only the 8 pin is installed initially.
