I am working on converting a couple of .CPI to mp4. I have tried the add-on "Video to any format" but it does not seem to be doing anything. The first video is 40 minutes long, and the add-on has been working on the conversion for 2 hrs. I see no percent or progress bar.
Is there a better app out there?
Thx

If you think this, then understanding that ".CPI" files are metadata means you can't just change them; you need to work with the original files.

I understand Alabalcho, thank you for clarifying.
A bit more detail could assist you better.
I recorded several videos on a flash drive. They appear in the Private folder under Private>AVCIHD>BDM>CLIPINF, but not in the DCIM folder.
To convert these files into originals or MP4, what steps should I follow?

The video would come with an MTS or M2TS file format.

Thank you for your message.
I’m just starting with video formatting and discovered another copy in Private>AVCHD>BDMV>STREAM. This might be enough. However, the files are in MTS format. Can they be converted to MP4? If yes, what steps should I follow?
