I own a Rosewill Cullinan V500 RGB case and a ROG Strix Z390-E Gaming motherboard. The front I/O includes four USB 3.0 ports plus two cables—each with a 20-1 connector. One cable is connected to the U31G1_78 port on my motherboard, but only that single port is available on the motherboard. I have an unused U31G2_C5 port on the board. There seems to be a mismatch in connectors. If they match, would there be a compatible adapter? Otherwise, should I look for another solution or adjust the setup to work around this?

You can connect a USB 3.2 to 3.1 adapter to achieve USB 3.1 performance. Alternatively, a USB 2.0 to USB 3.1 adapter will provide USB 2.0 speeds.
