Hello there! I see you're exploring the compatibility of your motherboard with newer graphics cards. Based on what you shared, both the 5700X and 5800X3D are supported starting from BIOS version 2423. However, when you installed the 5700X, it was running BIOS version 2407, which is still compatible. If you decide to upgrade to the 5800X3D, a BIOS update might be necessary depending on your current BIOS version. Feel free to reach out if you need more details!

It would be simple. A software patch offers better performance, improved compatibility, and stronger security—just install the newest version and everything will be fine.

It functions with older bios, yet it doesn’t increase performance. Your question about the 5700X—are you seeing any boost?

Yes, it's confirmed. Thank you for your responses. Should I suggest updating the bios right away?

I would handle it in a way that avoids issues (in fact, it should resolve them)

It's worth noting a few security updates. I only install the newest version with my X3D. I also add AGESA 1203C when using my 5900X.

Thanks for your feedback. I’ll update the bios regularly. Regarding your EVGA750GT PSU, it should still work with your 5800X3D+3080 10GB configuration.
