It's recommended to believe this board is compatible with Sandy Bridge and the Core i7-2000 line.

Yes, the I7-2700K can work, but its performance may be limited by its lower clock speed compared to newer models.

I haven't managed to recognize the board yet. Is it an OEM or prebuilt unit? What does the BIOS display indicate? The safest option appears to be the i7-2600, though the 3770 could be viable based on the BIOS timestamp. We still need additional details to confirm definitively.
