Question about Citrix Receiver on a computer.
Question about Citrix Receiver on a computer.
I observed Citrix Receiver on my machine and am uncertain about its purpose. It might be related to another application that needs server access. Is OneDrive dependent on it? I used CrashPlan previously but have since stopped using it for backup. It is currently running quietly, and I'm unsure of the consequences if I remove it. Any suggestions would be appreciated?
I examined the files in program files x86 and noticed three folders: Auth Manager, ICA Client, and Receiver. The dates listed for Auth Manager and Receiver were November 2017, while ICA Client was from January 2021. I might have used my work login previously to access my computer at home, which required a server connection for work. Now I use a work laptop. I will proceed with uninstalling... thanks.
I investigated further and noticed possible links to the time I joined for work. I'll reach out to the IT help desk to address removing it.
