It's referred to as texture pop, which is typical in the Frostbite engine and even more noticeable on consoles. I had to switch sides of the map before the textures appeared on my Xbone recently.

I also faced that issue with my older, slower HDD, but after upgrading to a new one, it became much less bothersome. It might mean your HDD is struggling to load the textures properly.

Max performance with MSAA disabled on a GTX 780 Lightning at 1080p is definitely possible, though I’m not sure what’s causing the issues.

Your GTX 780 might not handle 1080p smoothly, but it’s not necessarily a problem with the card itself. Check your settings and ensure you’re using compatible resolutions.
