Checked some BF4 gameplay and really enjoyed it, though the frequent F-Bombs were bothersome. Just a few would be ideal (BF3 and Titanfall were great in terms of language). Do you have any idea how to disable the profanity or mute the speech for this reason? I’m planning to try the Origin 7 day trial.

It's included in the game, so if you're interested in the campaign, you'll need to engage with it. For multiplayer, it mainly depends on the participants, though you can silence the chat if it bothers you. In MP, you might occasionally hear a soldier shouting something inappropriate, but it's unavoidable.

I've actually never really used the microphone. You can also press 'H' to hide the chat window if it bothers you. It's easy for me to ignore it since I'm focused on the game.

Oh my fuck! Someone fucking please think of the fucking children!!!! FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK MOTHERFUCKING FUCK :0 Oh, and BF3 was way worse in terms of soldiers swearing. My favourite lines are "I'm getting fucked in the ass over here!" "Here's a grenade for you fuckers!!!!!" and "Watch out im gonna kill that bitch!"

I just asked a straightforward question. Posting the first two lines wasn’t needed, but I appreciate what you did at the end. Thanks!

I'm just an 8/8 and don't understand what you're asking.

I recall seeing a filter for in-game sounds but I’m not sure if it changed everything to English or turned them off entirely. It seems more about the game and life—probably not your style if you’re sensitive to those things. Honestly, you’re likely going to face a Pegi 17 rated experience with intense combat and blood. The cursing is quite minor compared to the chaos. If you plan to play online, keeping audio on can be risky; it really aids in spotting enemies. In BF3, some audio files would break when reviving teammates, playing them back could sound like "DIE YOU F***ER!"
