Question about Battlefield 1

Battlefield 1 seems like a top choice since it offers all the features I enjoy from a WW1 perspective. I'm torn between the regular version for $60 and the deluxe for $80. Is the extra $20 really worth it? I need some clarity before making the decision. Also, I'm unsure if the deluxe edition includes a season pass for any DLC or if there will be paid expansions. Thanks in advance for your help. Spoiler alert!

I placed the deluxe version ahead of schedule mainly due to the early availability. The additional items make great extras, though I doubt they cover a season pass. It wasn’t mentioned on the original listing.

The Deluxe Edition doesn’t include a season’s pass covering all upcoming DLC. Usually, with Battlefield you’ll need to purchase the premium version to access those features, or you’ll have to buy each DLC separately.

EA has handled microtransactions in their BF games fairly well. They probably planned to introduce skins, which is likely, but they’re not the first to do it, so I can’t really criticize them for it.
