Hello,
I own an Acer Nitro 5, which is made of plastic. I’m wondering whether it’s safe to turn the laptop upside down while holding just the lid on one side. Would the lid be strong enough to handle this kind of movement, or could it lead to hinge problems or other issues later? If turning the laptop around like this causes problems, what kind of issues might arise?

I’ve heard from others that someone did exactly the same and experienced negative effects. It seems risky to open a laptop with just the lid on one side and rotate it frequently. I’m concerned about potential damage and want to know if there are any precautions or protection tips for this model.

Could you also share some experiences or advice on protecting the Acer Nitro 5 from such situations?

No laptop should be moved or handled by its lid. They weren't built with that in mind.
