I've encountered problems with a failing hard drive. When I disconnect it from my PC, it functions properly. However, my Ethernet speed, which was over 90mbps, has dropped to under 15mbps and now stands at just 1kbps. I'm uncertain about the exact software running on the drive, as I haven't used it in about five years. I also observed a change in the noise from my PC, but I'm not sure if that's significant. Could you help explain these issues?

Restart the network drivers and clear network configurations. To change network settings on Windows, go to Settings > Network & Internet > Status or Advanced network options, select "Network reset," and press confirm to restart the process
