Question about 12V RGB lighting on a new build
Question about 12V RGB lighting on a new build
I'm facing an issue with my 870e ASUS crosshair or Strix motherboard for the 9800X3D. They only have ARGB 5v headers. I need to use the 14 LED case fans I already have on my two RADs in my 5900X build (480mm and 360mm in push/pull), but they're old-style 12V 4-pin RGB fans. The new motherboard doesn't support both headers like my X570 crosshair does. I really don’t want to purchase new fans just for lighting. Can anyone suggest a solution? Thanks.
RGB LED Controller offers full management of your system’s illumination, letting you elevate its performance. Explore a wide range of color schemes and effects, from ready-made presets to complete custom settings. Achieve the desired PC lighting without any hassle. Download the Coolermaster RGB LED controller software at the end of this link:

For additional options, consider using a 1-to-3 splitter such as this:

This will allow you to connect 12 fans via a header, though you’ll end up with lighting groups and miss out on two fans from the total 14.
the product is discontinued or it might not be available online. any other options? i have splitters and couplers plenty (lol). thanks
EDIT: i found this. what do you think?
