Hello, I own a Phanteks Revolt Pro 1000W PSU, which I believe is a Seasonic model. It arrived about 2 to 3 months ago. I monitor everything using HWInfo64 and have also checked the BIOS, both showing the same +12v rail voltages. The +12v varies slightly between 11.884v and 11.980v—a difference of about 0.1v—which falls within the expected range. However, it changes quite often during idle and sometimes in games (the software isn't perfectly stable). Here’s a link to my screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/4ocDrRK. This should reflect my usage while idle, watching YouTube and browsing Chrome. Is this indicating a problem or is it just minor fluctuations?

The specifications clearly state that you are fully within the required limits.

Thank you for the clarification. I wasn't aware of the specifications for the 3.3 or 5V rails, but there seems to be no need to worry about the frequent 0.1V changes on the 12V rail.

it's really small so i wouldn't be concerned.
today the price was between 11.880 and 12.096 with an average of 12.019v.
i believe it's normal for it to change a bit. you're unlikely to find one that stays at the same level all the time.
any thoughts on the idea of PSU voltage "fluctuations"?

what kind of CPU do you have?
usually i don't check my 12v chart in hwinfo, but mine has stayed around 12.024 most of the time. it changes depending on what system is running, starting a video uses some power from me too, and typing also affects it.
it's best to use a multimeter for accuracy, since software tools aren't very precise.
seasonic doesn't usually make bad PSUs, i had one until january—i only replaced it when my graphics card needed more power.

I own a Ryzen 7 5800x and an RTX 3070 in my PC. Were those changes during idle, or did you experience load affecting it? My PSU maintains the same readings (11.88-11.98) even under load, unless I'm stress testing the GPU heavily.
ik HWInfo and even the BIOS aren't fully trustworthy, but they might still act as indicators if something is amiss. I just wanted to verify.

The mine were idle. I haven't been putting much stress on the PC all day except for watching videos. I just restarted the PC so everything feels different now.
Ryzen CPU keeps waking and sleeping cores, which might be related.
I only check charts in HWINFO on my 3600xt, like Core Temps and Average Effective Clock. I haven't really been concerned about power consumption, especially since my last two PSUs were Seasonic.
My 3.3V changes more often than my 12V.

I never considered how the cores constantly waking and switching c-states could affect these changes, which makes sense.
PSU caused me a lot of concern because it fell to about 11.78 and reduced the PCIe voltage to 11.8 during a Heaven Benchmark test. Ultimately, it was due to the lack of an FPS cap, letting my GPU run at full capacity and making me very anxious.

Mine fell to 11.880 in heaven—GPU temperatures didn’t even register that I was using it. Strange, though, because my FPS jumps when I move the mouse cursor. My motherboard doesn’t display any PCIe voltage readings.

PCIe should be listed in your GPU section; it appears under "GPU Rail Voltage." Here’s a detailed list of the voltages I found. The PCIe +12v Input Voltage is the first one. This information has been very helpful.

The AMD GPU isn't visible, and it's not showing up in the driver performance display either. Running below caused this issue, so the frame rate is zero.
