Is 14900k truly a dead model? I heard Intel is fixing its problem and it's now even better than AMD 9800X3D !! (4K). The prices in my country are:
14900k -> 400 $
9800X3D -> 550 $
Ultra 9 285k -> 520 $
For 4K gaming, this CPU is more powerful than others. What should I buy now? Which CPU is best to purchase today?

I'd support the 9800X3D. It may not be a strong CPU, but it remains the top gaming processor available today.

When aiming to cut expenses, considering the older 7800x3d might be worthwhile since it remains a strong processor.

It varies based on your PC's needs. The two Intel chips act as versatile options, while the X3D serves a more specific purpose.

It depends on your needs. The intel platforms won't last much longer, and the 14900K has its own stability problems. You might want to consider a 7800X3D instead.

Yes, the 14900k is essentially dead. Intel's updates actually reduced performance, likely to prevent the chip from overheating. The 285k offers little improvement over the 12700k in gaming. If the 7800x3d becomes available at a lower price, it remains a solid choice. Since you're running 4k, even a standard 9700x is acceptable. At least that means you're on a platform with upgrade possibilities.

If it is purely gaming then I would go the 9800x3d without a doubt. If there is a decent price difference then the 7800x3d is also a very good processor.
If you need other uses such as productivity of some description then what is the price of a 14700k?

At 4k resolution, the graphics card takes the forefront of importance.
Any of the processors mentioned would suffice.
Intel has identified and resolved the underlying problem.
For the 14900K, it is recommended to purchase a new one rather than a used one that could have been affected by prior damage.
Updating your motherboard to the latest version and avoiding overclocking should prevent any issues.
